On January 1st 2018, Cinzia Tavernini has been appointed as new CEO of Globase International ApS. In her new role, she will continue to channel all efforts into the company’s latest email marketing platform, Globase V3.
Cinzia Tavernini has been with Globase in Copenhagen since beginning of 2017, when she started to upgrade an increasing number of customers to Globase V3. Prior to that, she worked for over three years at MailUp Group, the parent holding, which was recently named one of Europe’s fastest growing companies in tech, as per Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 EMEA 2017.
Nazzareno Gorni, chairman of Globase International ApS and CEO of MailUp Group, comments:
”Cinzia has in-depth knowledge of Globase V3, while she has, at the same time, built strong relationships with clients over the past year. Therefore, it is only natural for her to be at the forefront of a company strategy which is primarily focused on Globase V3”
Nazzareno additionally thanks the outgoing CEO, Rasmus Kurek:
”Rasmus has put great efforts into optimizing and streamlining the business. Thus, he has created a solid foundation for the work that Cinzia is already in full swing with. We thank him for that and wish him good luck for the future”
Globase V3 is ready for GDPR
On May 25, the EU’s new General Data Protection Regulation comes into force. GDPR sets a number of requirements to be met in handling personal data – especially when dealing with e-mail and SMS marketing. Globase V3 can meet these requirements, which is precisely one of the reasons why the company is investing on V3 for the future.
Cinzia Tavernini, the new CEO of Globase, elaborates:
”Globase V3 is already used by more than 11,000 customers worldwide, and it is more user-friendly and intuitive compared to older versions. It comes with a number of improvements, for example native integrations with CRM and e-commerce platforms like Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce and Magento. At the same time, a large team of developers watches over the solidity of the infrastructure and works towards its continuous development, enabling Globase to keep up with trends and client demands. The portfolio is completed by BEE, the popular drag & drop editor. With 1 million users worldwide, BEE makes it easy and fast to design beautiful, responsive emails.”
Cinzia Tavernini then continues:
”Last but not least, V3 is ready to comply with the strict requirements of GDPR. For this reason, we decided to channel all future investments into one platform only. We will, however, support the older platforms V1 and V2 until we have ensured that our clients have successfully upgraded. Alongside, we will introduce V3 to new customers.”
